Bridesmaid Luncheon Ideas

Are you hosting your bridesmaids before the wedding? Well bridal brunches, luncheons or parties are a great way to show your appreciation for all their hard work for being involved with your wedding. And of course another reason for you all to get together in cute dresses and sip on a fun cocktail! This is a great time to get all the ladies together in your family (grandmas, mothers, aunts and cousins) along with your bridesmaids, guest book attendants and greeters and meet before the wedding.

We have some great tips if you are planning to host this yourself. Or if you want to go to a local restaurant, check out our favorite places~

If you are hosting at home:

This is a perfect time to give them little gifts too! Whether you are doing a little bag or basket or just some jewelry for them to wear with their dresses you can present it to them before the rehearsal. Monogram gifts (bags, towels, necklaces, or shirts to wear while getting ready are fun), purse for them to carry with little mints, tissues, mirror, lip gloss are a few ideas)

Make them feel special by doing a fun set up including their name cards and fun menus! This is something you can do yourself too! Find some fun linens and go with a theme!

Food is always important. Whether you are hosting this a someone’s house or your own. The presentation is really important! Make them feel special and bring out your good china and glassware- might as well use it for something! If you don’t want to be in charge of the food look into getting a caterer. They usually aren’t that expensive and will make your life easier! That way you can mingle with your guests and they will do all of the dirty work!

Everyone loves a good dessert! So make it fun with a couple different options. Some vanilla and chocolate options for all kinds of taste buds. There are lots of cupcake shops around that do more than just cupcakes. So check out your local favorites and you wont have to worry about it not tasting good!

Make sure to have a variety of options for drinks- some alcoholic and non-alcoholic. A fun wine spritzer or champagne with a berry always has a good presentation. Or a fun punch with sherbet or lemonade and tea.
